Michelle Barker is an attorney with our law firm and also serves as Vice President and General Counsel of Affiliates Management Company (AMC). With more than 20 years of legal experience, Michelle is a member of the AMC senior leadership team and oversees the AMC legal team, which supports AMC and its family of companies. Prior positions have included Assistant Vice President and Senior Counsel of Lincoln Financial Group and Vice President and General Counsel of American Enterprise Group/American Republic Insurance. Michelle also has experience serving as an attorney in a small-size law firm in Des Moines. Michelle holds her Juris Doctorate with distinction and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa. 

Elizabeth Hodgson is an attorney with our law firm and also serves as Senior Counsel of Affiliates Management Company (AMC). She has more than 20 years of legal experience. Prior to joining AMC, Liz served as in-house counsel for two national financial services companies, primarily supporting mortgage lending. Liz has also spent time as an attorney with a small-size law firm in Des Moines and as an assistant County Attorney in Woodbury County, Iowa. Liz holds her Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Amy Miller is an attorney with our law firm and also serves as Senior Counsel of Affiliates Management Company (AMC). Amy has more than 15 years of legal experience, and prior to joining AMC, she founded and managed her own law firm to provide outsourced legal services to law firms and in-house legal departments. She also has held positions as Senior Counsel of American Enterprise Group/American Republic Insurance, and as an attorney with a mid-size law firm in Des Moines. Amy holds her Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School and Bachelor of Arts from Central College.

Maddison Lawrence serves as Legal Operations & Project Analyst for our law firm and for Affiliates Management Company (AMC). Maddison provides general support to the law firm and the AMC companies. Prior to joining AMC, Maddison worked for a national financial institution as a bankruptcy specialist. Maddison holds her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa.
